What to expect
- To review: 15 questions per assessment.
- To review: A 20-minute total countdown for the whole attempt.
- To review: One category per assessment.
- To review: Difficulty adapts during the assessment.
- To review: Question difficulty is not shown while you answer.
- To review: No running score is displayed during the attempt.
- To review: Progress is shown simply as “Question X of 15”.
- To review: Where offered, “I'm not sure” is a valid answer choice.
- To review: The timer keeps running through refreshes, tab changes and short interruptions.
- To review: An active attempt can only be resumed inside its original 20-minute window.
- Needs attention: When time expires, available answers are submitted automatically and the attempt is marked timed out or incomplete.
- Needs attention: Incomplete, abandoned or timed-out attempts do not produce an official level.

What each level means
Levels describe the kind of decisions you can make, not how much terminology you know.
Starter
Foundational understanding of the subject, with basic decisions made correctly in straightforward situations.
Intermediate
Practical application and interpretation: sound decisions in common, real situations where the evidence is reasonably clear.
Expert
Handles ambiguity, competing evidence, prioritisation, tradeoffs and complex situations where any choice carries a cost.

Official reassessment in a category becomes available 30 days after a completed attempt. You can keep learning and practising throughout that period, and once you reassess you can compare your previous and current level, score and time.

How many questions is each assessment?
Every category assessment contains 15 scenario-based questions.
Is there a time limit?
Yes. Each attempt has a 20-minute total countdown covering the whole assessment.
Do I need an account?
Official assessments require signing in with a verified email address, so results can be attached to your account.
What happens if I run out of time or lose connection?
The timer continues through refreshes, tab changes and short interruptions. An active attempt can be resumed only within its original 20-minute window. When time expires, available answers are submitted automatically and the attempt is marked timed out or incomplete.
Do incomplete attempts count?
No. Incomplete, abandoned or timed-out attempts do not produce an official level.
What do I receive at the end?
An official level, your exact weighted score, time taken, qualitative topic feedback grouped as strong, developing or needs improvement, and your next reassessment date. Explanations for incorrect answers are available after completion.
When can I reassess?
Official reassessment in the same category becomes available 30 days after a completed attempt.
Can I keep learning while I wait to reassess?
Yes. All lessons and practice scenarios stay available during the waiting period, and results point you to the topics worth studying first.
Is a “not sure” answer allowed?
Where the option is offered, choosing “I'm not sure” is a valid answer rather than a penalty for guessing wildly.
Is this a certification?
No. These are independent, practical skill assessments. They are not Google certifications, official certifications or an accredited qualification.
